Julian Brasington lives and works in North-West Wales, creating hand-pressed prints, drawings, and writing inspired by land, sea, myth, and memory.
Recently, I received a small bursary from a-n The Artists Information Company, which has allowed me to invest in mentoring, materials, and a small etching press.
Sitting in firelight, listening eyes closed to Ólafur Arnalds’ Momentary - choir version, I wondered what it might be like to draw, eyes closed, the things that I ‘see’ in my head.
